The V.I.B. 800 from Y by Nordisk is built to keep you toasty warm even when you’re bivouacking. This “Very Important Bag” weighs in at just 1110 g and will keep you nice and warm at temperatures down to -6°C. This excellent performance is due to the use of premium materials and complex manufacturing processes.

Its excellent insulation properties are the result of 700g of the best European goose down. The fill power of the down is 750+ cuin (according to the European measuring method – this corresponds to a US equivalent of 820+ cuin) and has a down-to-feather ratio of 95/5. The down is located in an extremely complex S-baffle design, so that the fill can maximize its thermal potential. Plus, the shingle-type structure prevents cold bridges from forming and keeps the down in place. Extra warmth is provided by the draught collar that won’t let cold air in.
