High-performance sleeping bag for tent and bivouac adventures
The Women’s Glacier 700 from Mountain Equipment is a very warm down sleeping bag for trekking tours at high altitudes and summer bivouacs up in the mountains. The body-hugging mummy shape effectively holds your body heat and prevents it from spreading into unused corners of the sleeping bag. This narrow Alpine Fit further optimises its thermal performance. Moreover, the sleeping bag features a water-repellent and breathable Drilite Loft outer material. Its comfort temperature is measured at -6 °C.
Excellent thermal performance
The insulation is made from Down Codex-certified duck down with a fill power of 700 cuin and a fill weight of 667 g, which is sure to impress due to its outstanding thermal performance. Plus, its construction of trapezoidal baffles not only ensures that the down stays in place, but is also reduces the overall weight. In addition, the anatomically-cut hood consists of five baffles, which ensure that the down doesn’t slip and that your head always remains reliably insulated. Meanwhile, the foot section is made up of a six baffle construction. A draught collar prevents heat from escaping and can easily be opened and closed using just one hand, thanks to the Lode-Lock closure – a combination of a magnetic and a mechanical closure.
Moreover, the sleeping bag also includes a waterproof stuff sack as well as an extra bag for easy storage at home.
In summary, the Women’s Glacier 700 is a high-performance sleeping bag for demanding outdoor adventures.
